Department Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the submission of enrollment applications to the Southern California Edison (SCE) Charge Ready Business and Transport Programs to develop Program Participation Agreements for the design, construction and installation of the necessary infrastructure for new charging infrastructure at the new Civic Center and Convention Center, other City facilities if deemed feasible, and to expand the charging equipment at the City's Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility and new charging infrastructure at the City's Public Works Corporation Yard and at the Tulare County Office of Education Doe Avenue Complex to support electrification growth efforts for general City, Transit and Public Works vehicles.
