Department Recommendation:
Staff recommends City Council authorization to file a Notice of Completion for Riggin Avenue Widening & Improvements (Akers to Demaree).

Background Discussion:
On December 5th, 2022, the City Council authorized the City Manager to award the construction contract for RFB 22-23-19, Riggin Widening & Improvements (Akers to Demaree) to Agee Construction Corporation in the amount of $4,059,548.45. The project widened the existing roadway to four lanes and added buffered bike lanes, sidewalk, bus turnouts, landscaped medians, and fire hydrants. Construction started April 17th, 2023.
The project has been completed and the final total construction cost was $3,913,992.07, which is 3.59% below the original contract price.
