Department Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council receive a presentation and have a continued discussion regarding the Civic Center Phase II project and approve the landscape plans and options as outlined in the attached presentation.
Summary:
The City Council previously provided direction on the building locations, site plan, floor plans and architectural style. Following that meeting, City Staff and the Architects began to develop the "Mission Inspired" architectural style, further refine the building elevations and site plan, and began to develop the landscaping, outdoor amenities, and space programming specific to Civic Center Phase II. Currently the project is nearing completion of the Schematic Design Phase which includes final building renderings, floor plans, elevations, technical reports, landscape and site plans, and updated cost estimates. Tonight's presentation shows landscaping options and staff is requesting Council approve several landscape and site plan options.

Fiscal Impact:
