Department Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to purchase traffic signal poles, cabinet and controllers from JAM Services Inc. in the amount of $190,960 for the traffic signal project at the intersection of Ferguson Avenue and Mooney Boulevard.

Summary:
Based on past coordination with suppliers and procurement experience on comparable capital improvement traffic signal projects, the estimated lead time for fabrication and delivery of traffic signal poles is currently between 24 and 36 weeks from the date an order is placed. The project is currently in the purchasing department queue for advertising, with an estimated 3-4 months before the bid process is finalized. By authorizing procurement at this stage, staff anticipates that the signal poles can be delivered by approximately November 2026, allowing sufficient time for coordination with construction activities and maintaining the overall project delivery schedule.
