Department Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council:
1. Authorize the City Manager to award a contract with A-C Electric Company for RFB 23-24-20 for traffic signal improvements at the intersection of St. Johns Parkway and Burke Street (3010-72000/CP0514-999), in the amount of $1,135,767.80; and
2. Authorize an appropriation of additional CMAQ funds in the amount of $70,000; and
3. Authorize an appropriation of additional Measure R Regional (133) funds in the amount of $565,000; and
4. Authorize the City Manager to amend the Measure R Supplemental Agreement.
Background Discussion:
This project will include signalizing the intersection of St Johns & Burke St, replacing the all-way stop controls and improving the pedestrian access ramps to be in compliance with Public Right of Way Accessibility Guidance (PROWAG).
