Department Recommendation:
Authorize appropriation of $1.7 million from Civic Center Reserve Fund.
Background Discussion:
The Visalia Civic Center Phase 2 project is currently in the Construction Document review stage. The building plans and specifications have been submitted to the Building Department for review. The additional budget allocation requested will cover the cost of additional staff time and City of Visalia Development impact fees and Building Department plan check and inspection fees for the project. Staff will return with another budget allocation request after the construction bids are received, which is tentatively scheduled for January 2025.
